The Winter felt SO long and SO cold, so once Spring officially came and the weather has finally started to turn, it has been full speed ahead!
Lots going on with our farmers’ market season already in full swing with a new market on Thursday, and returning to all of our markets from last season. That makes for a total of 8! Check-out this Page for the schedule and product line-up for the week. New products already introduced this year include a Marble Rye Sandwich Loaf, 100% Whole Wheat Rustic Batard, Whole Wheat, Carrot, Golden Raisin & Ginger Batard, and Garlic & Rosemary Flatbreads. We are also working on a new scone, as well as a new vegan quickbread. Stay tuned.
Lots going on the behind the scenes looking for new wholesale opportunities, new staff, and a new van. Our faithful van has been good to us over the last 10+ years, but she really needs a break and we need to add to our delivery fleet and area.
I have also been working on a post about all the stuff put into commercial bread. I never realized everything that went into those lovely, squishy, white steak rolls. It is mind blowing!!
