Also known as a "pain au chocolat" in French, these rectangular pastries are made from a laminated dough. Nishon crafts them in the traditional way by pounding out the Plugra, by hand, and folding the dough repeatedly to get those delicious flakey, buttery layers. Each one has two chocolate batons rolled in the dough before they are baked.
